Staying at West Acre House was superb; Jeannette and Bruce were wonderfully welcoming and gracious hosts, making our visit exceptionally special with their kindness, insightful recommendations, warm reception, and immaculate courtesy that truly showcased the finest qualities of English hospitality. The house is a genuine jewel in Alnwick, complemented by a magnificent garden, and breakfast was both plentiful and excellent. We loved every aspect of our stay and unreservedly recommend it.

Bruce and Jeanette are fabulous hosts who want to make your stay as perfect as possible. The house is very comfortable, breakfast fresh and cooked to order and the gardens are as good as many show gardens. A fantastic place to stay and relax before exploring the region

A beautiful house with a lovely garden, well-situated for visiting the surrounding area; the very best quality B and B we've ever stayed at, with an immensely comfortable room, very well resourced, lovely breakfast, and extremely amenable hosts – it deserves so much praise.
