The welcome, attentive staff, and cleanliness were great. The location is a drawback, and it’s a shame the meals aren’t from a Moroccan kitchen.

The room was spotless, the spot was spot on, and the staff were super helpful.

We liked the building’s quality, the gardens, and the pool. The reception was cold and impersonal, the worst part of our road trip in the south. Dinner felt like cafeteria food in an icy lounge with three couples shoved to the corners while tables were available on a gorgeous terrace.

The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. The pool lived up to its name. The surroundings were well maintained, and sunset from the terrace overlooking the Atlas mountains was beautiful. The location isn’t great; the neighborhood around Ourzazate is a bit poor and the hotel feels like a fish out of water. With the intense heat, the room on the top floor terrace was scorching, so we had to turn on the air‑conditioning as soon as we entered, especially in the evening. We couldn’t sleep past 3 a.m. because of the heat, then the AC finally kicked in and the walls stopped radiating heat. We should have turned on the AC from the morning.
