Denise and Malcolm welcomed us immediately, making us feel at home. The room and bathroom were spotless, and the bed was supremely comfortable. From the terrace, the bay view was breathtaking even on stormy days, giving us two truly relaxing days after a two‑week New Zealand trip.

The décor was tasteful, and every necessity was provided, showing clear care and attention to detail. Each morning we ate breakfast at the outdoor table, watching the calm sea and passing boats, which was so soothing. We stayed for three nights and wished we could extend it. Coromandel town is about a ten‑minute drive away. Denise and Malcolm were very welcoming and lovely.
