The breakfast was excellent, the room was clean and new, but the hotel itself feels a bit old‑fashioned; when dining outside the tables weren't wiped, and I arrived at 13.40 and received a small card at noon.

The shower and bathtub were a dream—spacious, modern, and spotless—yet there were water stains on the upper ceiling.

The location is great—just five minutes from St. Pölten Hbf with direct trains to all over Europe and the Mariazellerbahn. It’s a big business hotel with a spacious, well‑equipped room. The breakfast buffet is excellent and varied, held in a lovely room in the historic front wing, and the staff at check‑out were friendly and customer‑focused. However, the internet in the booked room (at the end of the corridor?) was very frustrating—slow, difficult to log in, and it kept saying “not secure.” The evening dining service on the first night was inadequate in terms of staff attention and other aspects.

The large, bright room had an enormous shower, and the food was very good, but I would have liked more options at the breakfast buffet, like a wider selection of cheeses and breads.

The rooms were very nice, but the breakfast only had one coffee machine and long waiting times; other hotels always run two machines at the same time.
