Francine and her family were genuinely friendly hosts who served a decent breakfast.
The room was spotless and comfortable.
The beach is about a 15‑minute walk away and the train station just five minutes away.

The host is very friendly. 1. I didn't expect to be staying in a room within a family home. I've stayed in B&Bs before, but there was always privacy, and I never felt like I was staying in someone's personal living space. 2. Noise from trains and planes late at night and early in the morning. 3. The breakfast was very meagre (juice, coffee, and a croissant)
The hosts were pleasant and the separate bathroom plus patio were nice touches, though the spot required a car to reach shops or the beach in the heat. Breakfast was simple but tasty. The apartment got uncomfortably hot and a fan would have helped a lot, so overall it was an okay stay.
“Excellent”
The host was extremely welcoming and the room was quiet with a garden view and a nice terrace. Being only two minutes from the Mies railway station made trips to Geneva (20 min) and frequent trains very convenient. Overall a pleasant, hassle‑free stay.
The room was adorable and spotless, equipped with everything we needed and a private bathroom that made life easy. We especially enjoyed the well‑kept garden, and Francine and her family were genuinely friendly hosts who served a decent breakfast. The only drawback was a bit of noise and limited privacy since the room is part of a lived‑in house.
Staying with Francine’s family feels like being at home; the beach is about a 15‑minute walk away and the train station just five minutes away. The outdoor space is a pleasant extra area to relax in. I left feeling comfortable and well‑taken‑care of.
