We were worried about a good night's sleep because trains ran right next to the pension and many negative reviews mentioned it, yet we slept very well both nights even with the window open. Breakfast for 11 € was varied and quite good. The room was small and there wasn’t even one comfortable chair to sit and read, which was a bit frustrating. The bar and restaurant were closed, apparently because the staff was sick—or perhaps it was low season. I expected someone at the property to hand over the keys, but the reception was a bit farther away; that was fine once we understood it, though it could have been explained better. The pension sits on the grounds of an old factory turned into a fun park, and we wondered how that would feel in summer with kids playing around. All in all, it was finally okay, even if a bit minimalistic for the price.
