The experience was amazing: the room was fantastic, the candies left out were a nice touch, the bed was very comfortable, and it was close to a wonderful family‑run seafood restaurant. What really stuck with my wife and me was how the host handled a total loss of electricity caused by the 95+ mph winds that night; he still managed an excellent breakfast assortment—just no coffee! Watching the trees sway outside our window was fun.

It was probably one of the better places to stay while in Cheticamp. The location was convenient, though the rooms were mostly accessed by stairs. Breakfast was sufficient, and it was nice to chat with other travellers in the dining room. It felt a bit crammed, but manageable. We loved the local pub, especially on Friday night, and it seemed to be a locals’ night. The hotel has had a bit of a revamp, but it still gives off 80s vibes.

The location was good. The bed and bathroom could be improved but were adequate for the property.
