Nothing! No tuk-tuk or any other vehicle can reach the property. I had to walk through sand on the beach, over a bridge, and then through a very unsanitary neighborhood before I could get to the place. I brought my suitcase in, visited this shanty, grabbed my legs to my neck, and left quickly. The photo is nice, but that's all. There are brick stairs and a lot of junk. No air conditioning. The dorm has no privacy because the curtains are too short and too transparent. In short, stay away!

The owners and staff were really nice and had plenty of good suggestions for travelers. The fan over the beds was great. The bed itself was not comfortable at all, and the pillow was super thin. There was no AC anywhere on the property, and the Wi‑Fi was spotty. The location was bad—a very local neighborhood, a 20‑minute walk into town, and you have to go through narrow, twisty alleys to get there. I didn't feel very safe when I arrived at night. It definitely wasn't glamorous. Roosters woke me up every morning, and the shower pressure was weak.

“Great place”

Everything was great! The place is far from the noisy, crowded center, and the view and people were lovely. I felt like home. Nothing to declare.

I liked everything. Most of my stay the owner was away, but the staff member who was there in his absence was very helpful. Laundry, good breakfast at a good price, free water. The views were great! The lockers in the shared room, the fans by each bed, clean bathrooms and sinks. Nice location, you have to walk from the tourist center through a local, atmospheric neighborhood that might look dangerous at first glance but isn’t; people greet you and smile, and you walk through their yard. For me, a great authentic vibe. The tour booked from the hostel had a pickup between 8:00‑9:00, and the guy arrived after 9:00. He apologized, but it was still somewhat unprofessional. Other than that, absolutely everything was positive; I would come back.
