I appreciated how efficient the staff were and how clean the yard was, but the wooden-framed bed took up too much space, the lack of a swimming pool was disappointing, and the sheets were old and didn’t meet the R600 price standard.

I had no positives, and the room smelled off; we were woken up and offered tea, which felt odd because why don’t they keep kettles and tea ingredients in the room like normal guesthouses do? We declined out of concern.
