The hotel's central position made it easy to get around
I was given dirty, used coffee spoons
The view was simply stunning
The pool was a bit too chilly to swim

The staff were welcoming and helpful, giving solid restaurant tips, and the on‑site laundry was very reasonably priced; breakfast was ordinary but sufficient to start the day.
“Overall excellent”
Everything was fine, but the breakfast had already been reported to the Edit receptionist.
“Would not stay again. Did complain to reception. The room should have been clean and ready as out of season as well. Und”
The location offered stunning views and the receptionist was warm and welcoming, yet the room was very dirty in many spots, the common areas were rough and worn, staff used the lift and didn’t come out when we were waiting with heavy bags, breakfast was dull, cold, and the staff were not welcoming, the cleaning staff arrived at the same time as breakfast, and the whole place felt unwelcoming with piles of dust in many areas of our room.
The room was huge and well‑heated, but getting to it was difficult: from the reception you had to go down a flight of stairs to the lift, walk through the whole hotel, and then climb a steep 15‑step staircase with heavy luggage; we also asked for a lunch pack and it didn't even contain a drink.
Fiona at reception was excellent and upgraded my room for a small fee so I could enjoy the marina views; I’ll be back.
