The location is great and there are a lot of walking trails around the property.

Nice leisure facilities, good swimming pool and fabulous sauna
“Lovely Staff”
The staff were the best thing about the hotel. The decor and old artifacts, such as typewriters, telephones and record players, etc were interesting. There were no changing facilities for disabled guests at the pool and gym. The staff went out of their way to get around this so we could swim, but hotels these days should cater for disabled guests. Although not the fault of the hotel the restaurant and bar were very noisy due to corporate guests
“The place is beautiful, spotless and the staff make it an extra special stay. We would love to come back here.”
Everything was great apart from one thing - the size of the bathroom in our very large, lovely room. It was much too small. The bathroom being too small - this is all
“Overpriced for the quality where you can’t even get a toothbrush without paying an extra £8 for a “dental kit””
The grounds are beautiful and the buildings on the estate very grand. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were small so not the best value for money, our view was of a roof top and a sky light for one of the meeting spaces below. Our bathroom smelled unpleasant and the toilet needed to be flushed 3 or 4 times every time
“Historic hotel with great facilities and friendly staff.”
Lovely historic hotel in a great rural setting, but still close to a London Underground station. The main bar was a bit chaotic and staff didn't seem to know which spirits they actually had in stock, as this didn't match the drinks menus
