The lack of an elevator made the stairs hard to handle, especially since my legs were already in bad shape.

The staff, even though they only spoke Japanese, were very friendly. My room had a view of Mount Fuji. The only negative was that there was no breakfast.

The staff were friendly, and the room was superb with a view of Mount Fuji, well equipped, and the bed was comfortable. The only drawback might be the location—it's a bit far from the station if you have multiple bags, but with just one suitcase it's perfect.

The ryokan arranged a room with a view of Mount Fuji, and waking up at 6 am to see the mountain was unforgettable—more majestic than I imagined. Even though it was crowded, it was very quiet. About a 5‑minute walk you’ll find a 7‑11 where you can restock supplies. The reception staff were friendly but their English was poor, so bring a phone for translation. Outside the 7‑11 there are no other shops, so eat well before heading back to the inn. There is no elevator, so staying on a high floor or carrying large luggage will be a bit tough.
