“Bad service rude staff and not accommodating at all”
Nothing was absolutely unprofessional, but we booked and paid for 7 nights after leaving our first accommodation early due to poor hygiene, only to be told by reception that our room preference had been cancelled, we had to re‑check the booking on the platform which confirmed it was cancelled, and we were left sitting there for hours without any notice; we decided to take an early train home instead of staying, having traveled from Scotland to Kent, and the service here and elsewhere was outrageous, especially since I had clearly stated my partner was heavily pregnant, no drink was offered, and we’re still waiting for a refund tomorrow.

Breakfast was good except the sausages were low quality, and the carpet was missing in the pet room, whereas other hotels have carpet.

Excellent! They had plenty of items for a typical English breakfast. Dinner came with a 20 % discount for guests in a pleasant setting and great food (for example: cauliflower “wings”). The staff were polite and super attentive. The shower dripped a bit into the bathroom, but when we mentioned it they moved us to another room. The location is good, but it’s best to arrive by car, especially since the parking is spacious.
