The hotel sits down a narrow lane, so it stays quiet even after dark, the bed and the room were clean, and the shower actually produced hot water. The problem was that the tap in the bathroom didn’t work, so I had to use the bathroom sink, and the bathroom light was out; I was apparently the only guest there yet they sent me to a room with no shower or water, and when I asked to be moved they switched me to a room where the shower functioned. Wi‑Fi was advertised, but I was oddly directed to a paid connection; when I said I would leave if there was no free Wi‑Fi they gave me the password for the high‑speed network, which made me wonder why they didn’t offer it right away.
