“Beautiful location, attentive staff, administration and menus need improvement for four stars”

The venue is beautiful and the staff are great. However, the menu listed chicken sausages that were actually unavailable and no alternative was offered, and we were charged extra for bacon. Breakfast portions are small; the baked beans portion in the picture was meant for two people. We were told the property accepted Mastercard, but the booking was secured with Mastercard and we didn’t have enough cash, which could have been embarrassing; luckily we had a Visa card.

“Sehr schöner Ort”

The cabins were a great size and had a lovely, tasteful setup, which was perfect for our stay. Being located in a wooded garden right by the beach was amazing, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

The resort was really well maintained and had a peaceful vibe, making it easy to take relaxing walks along the beach. However, the sea wasn't exactly inviting for a swim, especially during low tide, due to the polluted river Ankobra flowing right into it. That was a bit of a bummer. Overall, it was a mixed experience.

This hotel is stunning, with a fantastic location right on the beach, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We also did a day trip to the Ankasa Forest, which was highly recommended. When we mentioned that the food wasn't fresh or authentic, the team really stepped up and reduced the menu, using fresher ingredients - a great response. Although the quality of the food still didn't quite match the location, it was still worth the trip.
