Breakfast was excellent. The property is within easy walking distance of both Batumi Airport and the bus stop to Batumi city. The hosts were friendly. Everything was good.

The house is amazing, reminiscent of my youth. The owners are my peers, wonderfully hospitable and easy to talk to. They strive to create a cozy, home‑like atmosphere for guests. The house is within walking distance of the airport, and they will even give you a free shuttle to the airport. When I saw my flight was delayed by six hours, I could return to the house without any trouble. I liked the breakfasts, which are made with care. The homey vibe is wonderful.

We arrived at noon, just dropping off our backpacks. The staff asked us to take off our shoes and handed us a pair of worn hotel slippers that we refused, which was far from what the photos showed. By nightfall we spotted a half-rotten watermelon in a shabby lounge, a filthy ceiling fan, used soap bottles, dirty cups, and the worst part came when we went to bed. The pillows were filthy, smelled of sweat and dirty hair, and soon after we started itching all over; when we switched on the lights, the whole room was covered in bugs. It was awful—something I’ve never experienced before—and I had to leave in a rush, worried about bringing insects back in our luggage. The bugs were everywhere: pillows, sheets, mattress… I’ve attached some photos we took. This forced us to cut our stay short and caused a lot of discomfort and worry. Finding bugs in a place meant for guests is especially serious. I’m posting this so other travelers know what to expect and the hotel can investigate and take proper pest‑control measures.
