“Perfect stay”

Xavier and Patricia turned out to be the most remarkable hosts imaginable; they are fascinating individuals with plenty of stories, creating a family‑like atmosphere where jokes flow all evening. Dining with them guarantees a five‑star menu since they are both superb chefs. Xavier’s lodge already houses many animals, so you’ll see plenty of cute impalas, giraffes, and more. He also has 14 adorable dogs that will brighten your day. They help with any plans you have, or if you’re unsure, they’ll suggest something. Staying more than one night is worthwhile, otherwise you’ll regret it. The lodge is about a 1.5‑hour drive from Kruger and only a 5‑minute drive from Jessica the hippo. The stay was perfect, just one night unfortunately fell short of our expectations. The staff were attentive, animals surrounded the lodge, and the meals were excellent—thanks to Xavier. The stay felt too short.
