Near the station, clean. It was a little cramped.

The host is a local resident who can give practical travel tips for Sasebo, Nagasaki, and all of Kyushu, and he helped me a lot as a guest—really appreciated it. His living room was a bit messy, but it felt lived‑in and didn’t bother me. The room was clean and comfortable, and the air‑conditioner was very cool. I was hesitant before because I rarely stay in guesthouses, but after staying here I’m glad I chose it; the price was reasonable, I learned a lot, and I felt completely at ease. Just be careful on the stairs.

The location was great.

The affordable price was a real relief! I was only looking for a place to sleep, so I was searching for something cheap, and this fit the bill. It’s also close to Sasebo Bus Terminal, which was convenient. The host was very friendly and taught me a lot, which left a good impression. However, there is a staircase, so it might be inconvenient for people with heavy luggage. It has a homey vibe, so if you’re after cleanliness you might prefer a hotel. Since it’s a shared house, it’s not for those who dislike that setup. Personally, I had no issues.
