The house was a good stopover with nearby shops, a very good and lovingly presented breakfast, clean rooms, outdoor area for relaxing, a large parking lot, and good pre‑arrival contact. It’s not far from the very interesting Stabkirke in Heddal. The room was in the annex building and a bit dated.

A cozy bed, a good shower, and excellent breakfast were all that mattered for a stop near Heddal’s beautiful wooden church.

They moved me to a better room in the building next to the shared kitchen because ours was taken by a group. The building was cozy, clean, and well decorated, and the hosts were very friendly. The shared kitchen on the ground floor and first floor was well equipped with a pleasant dining/lounge area. The outdoor area had garden furniture, nice, but we couldn’t use it because we arrived too late. It’s very close to Notodden, with its beautiful wooden church, and a supermarket across the street. The quality‑price ratio was very good. It’s next to the highway, but if it’s the season to close the windows, it isolates well from noise; with the window open it can be annoying. Otherwise everything was fine.
