“Overall, Hidden Grove is an awesome homestay! Bang for your buck!”
Hidden Grove gives you a nice escape from Siargao’s many activities; it’s a 5‑7 minute walk from Tourism Road and sits in a quieter, more secluded spot, giving you a private slice of paradise. Every morning I woke to lush greenery outside my room and the natural sounds of birds and insects that you can’t hear in the city. Free Wi‑Fi is a big plus for digital nomads and remote workers. The room was spacious, housekeeping was available, and the bathroom was large with a bidet and a heated shower. What made the stay even more memorable was the caretakers’ hospitality: Ate Amor baked fresh pan de coco for breakfast every day, and she was always ready to help with requests like motorcycle rentals, tour packages, laundry, and more. We met Micah, who gave us the schedule of events and party spots in Siargao, and the caretakers introduced us to other guests, turning us into friends who did many activities together. A shout‑out to the guys from North Carolina! Overall, Hidden Grove is an awesome homestay that balances proximity to town center restaurants, clubs, and the like with enough distance to enjoy the island’s peace and tranquility. Nothing was missing—I loved every minute and was sad to leave. If you book, be sure to contact Ate Amor so she can help with everything you need.
