I could stay quite quietly, and the foreign staff were very kind, which was reassuring. If you just need a cheap place with a bus stop nearby, this works. The convenience store is a 10‑minute walk and the path is unlit, so it feels scary at night. Also, because it’s inexpensive, dust accumulates in small spots, tissues run out after two sheets, and there’s no outlet near the pillow, so the care feels lacking.

After visiting Adventure World that day, my son refused to leave and said he preferred a Japanese‑style room, so I searched on a booking site and finally found it. By morning I realized the sea was across the road. It seems like a place for fishing enthusiasts. The inn had no meals and cost over 70,000 yen. The walls are thin and it’s just a plain inn. At check‑in, I heard someone in another room complaining about a fault, so I was uneasy from the start. When I opened the window, I saw a parking lot, and the path looked like an unkempt forest that could become a shortcut. The location is the worst. There’s no convenience store nearby. That day, there was a fireworks show in Shirahama, and only the sound bothered me; I had to walk to a visible spot. At night it was pitch dark.
