We loved the blueberry pancakes at the Cliff House and the stunning lake view while dining. The lake wasn’t as crystal clear as we had imagined, yet we still enjoyed swimming and paddle‑boarding there.

The spot is gorgeous and tranquil. During our stay the pool bar was closed, which was a shame since it only opens Thursday to Sunday. Construction on a new building meant trucks and loud noises came and went. Despite those minor nuisances, the lake is beautiful for boating and paddling, and there are tennis and pickleball courts plus lovely saunas by the water. I’d return anytime.

The cabins were new and clean, and the facilities looked great, but rain kept us from using them. Service was adequate. We stayed three nights and no cleaning was done unless we requested it between 10 am and 2 pm. We asked for extra coffee and received only a minimal amount, no creamer.
