A good hotel for a layover to the North Sea islands. Nearby, there was a park spot where people gathered to drink alcohol.
“Grundsätzlich ein schönes Hotel mit angemessenen 3 Sternen. 4 Sterne möglich nach Sanierung.”
The historic décor featuring the I.Klasse interior of the ship Cap Polonia was very well executed, a great idea over 90 years ago, especially since such high‑end ships are rarely built now. The room itself is dated, a building from the 1980s, and the bedroom extension is ugly; a renovation and a new bathroom would be modern. The cheap plastic window no longer closes properly. The bar layout is suboptimal, making it feel a bit uncomfortable. The lighting doesn’t match, and the seating arrangement needs changing.
Everything. No complaints.
“Für 160€ die Nacht im Doppelzimmer mit Hund deutlich zu schlecht.”
The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the reception area was very appealing. The rooms need renovation; an old carpet and the overall furnishings looked like they were from the 1980s, and the room had an unpleasant odor.
We dined in your restaurant Rolin in the evening and were completely delighted by both the service and the food. Each course we tried was simply very, very good in taste, composition, and presentation. The interior feels a bit dated. We also travelled with a small dog, so perhaps there could be designated dog rooms.
