STAY HERE! It’s the best place in Bordeaux. The staff were great, the welcome was excellent, especially after arriving late, and the apartment was spectacular.

The large room was beautiful, nicely decorated, and had a balcony overlooking the basilica; the staff were friendly and helpful, and it’s close to the train station, but it gets loud on weekends.

The room was wonderfully beautiful with a grand view, but I wish there had been a small cold bar—though it’s not essential, since there’s a great bar on the ground floor and a Carrefour City across the square.

I do not recommend this place. My room was in an annex building above a brewery/bar, and the nighttime noise was insane—more like a youth hostel than a hotel where you expect to sleep. The room itself was poorly maintained and unclean, and there was no safe, which made traveling with valuables feel unsafe. The biggest issue was the lack of support: the management was always absent, and even after I reported problems, nothing was resolved. I ended up leaving the hotel and finding another place. Despite being forced to leave because of the room conditions and the impossibility of a minimally peaceful stay, I was not refunded for the unused nights. Anyone looking for a hotel to rest in, with proper facilities and service, should avoid this place entirely; the experience fell far below what one expects from a professional accommodation.
