We were nicely lodged in a beautiful setting, a gorgeous castle that’s been renovated and kept clean, the facilities were fine and the breakfast was excellent.
Everything was fine and there’s nothing I can complain about.
The place has a really nice location and surroundings.
The surroundings and atmosphere of the main part, right inside the castle, were wonderful, but the rooms on the upper floor are attic‑style and get very hot in summer, even at night, so adding air‑conditioning would be helpful.
The place felt luxurious, well‑equipped, private wellness, breakfast, quiet and spotless, and we even got a better room in the castle for free, which was a pleasant surprise; however, the air didn’t circulate in the room, making it stuffy before a storm so we had to open the door to the hallway, which isn’t ideal being opposite the lift, and the mattress was loosely placed and kept shifting, but that didn’t affect our rating—we still enjoyed it and will gladly return.
