The host, Hana, was incredibly kind and offered great hospitality with recommendations for sightseeing, laundry, and breakfast. The interior had a lovely Moroccan feel, and the bed was very high quality, instantly easing travel fatigue. Everything in the medina center was within walking distance, yet the place stayed very quiet and relaxing. I’d definitely stay again.
The breakfast was tasty and well arranged, and the room had air conditioning. The toilet cover didn’t stay on, and the curtain didn’t block all the light from the room.
“Abreise wegen Stromschlägen beim Händewaschen”
We were greeted with tea and the free cancellation policy was accepted. Our daughter received electric shocks while washing her hands, and the same happened to my wife; I didn’t test it further for safety reasons. When we reported it, someone was supposed to come but after more than an hour no one arrived. The receptionist didn’t take it seriously. Communication was hard, only through Google Translate. She kept one hand under the water and said everything was fine, but only when both hands were under and barefoot. Luckily she didn’t test that. Since nothing improved, we decided to leave for safety. The free cancellation period had expired, but the accommodation still accepted it. The exact issue was unclear, but the boiler smelled like burnt wires. We hope this error is fixed so future guests can stay safely.
“An authentic stay in the heart of Fes Medina.”
A beautiful and authentic place in the heart of the Fes Medina. The traditional Moroccan house is stunning, with an impressive courtyard and lots of original details. The room was cozy and clean, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. A perfect place to experience the real atmosphere of Fes. Nothing
The lady was very welcoming. Cleaning was excellent and breakfast was very good. The location is perfect for visiting Fez.
