“Perfectly adequate”
The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were helpful, but there was no bedside table, the bed seemed too big for the room, the mattress was somewhat uncomfortable, there were no extra toilet rolls if needed, and no alternative milk for lactose intolerance.

The place was very comfortable, nice, and quiet, but it had a very old‑world vibe, which we liked.

The bar area was lively and the drinks were fairly priced, giving good value even with the extra breakfast fee. The bed felt a little springy and creaky, but I slept okay. The bathroom was narrow but clean, stocked with toiletries and a hot shower.
