The staff were friendly and the facilities were good. Overall everything was fine, but the Wi‑Fi connection could use improvement.
“DECEPCION, PUEDE SER UN MEJOR LUGAR SI SE REALIZAN LOS ARREGLOS CORRESPONDIENTES”
I liked the location, though it’s a bit far from Anapoima and the road is narrow but still accessible. The place is quiet, with little traffic noise. Breakfast was disappointing: even though the reservation included it, we couldn’t choose what to eat; we were only offered what the staff had prepared. The kitchen manager was very unfriendly when we asked questions. Weekend guests were treated superbly, while we had to wait for them first. They served red wine all day, and we only got it when it was available. The tejo courts were poorly maintained; the clay was dry, and the area lacked cleanliness. The billiard tables needed more cleaning; the chairs were dusty and the cues were damaged. The frog ponds were neglected, the BBQ area was in disarray, and a parrot in a cage had rusty bars and poor water and food conditions. The animals were generally neglected. The stay was expensive and the service was poor.
The pools were great, and the staff were attentive.
“Anti higiénico y desagradable”
The hotel has potential, but the service, hygiene, and staff attitude leave a lot to be desired. Reception was handled by a single person who had a poor personal appearance, an unpleasant attitude, and was constantly sneezing without covering his mouth or washing his hands. He also had a cold and kept touching his nose. When we entered, one room had a musty smell, and the staff brought an air freshener with them. When we asked for a room change, we were sent to the third floor, where we found rodent droppings on the stairs—a huge health risk for us and our pets. The hotel charges an extra, non‑refundable fee for pets, and there were no guarantees of safety; large dogs with visible fight marks roamed the hotel, one even entered a room, making it impossible for us to relax with our pets. We stayed less than two hours, requested a refund, and left.
