The area was quite nice, but we found that there was no cutlery, kettle, or coffee, tea, and sugar offered as refreshments.

The front desk staff were genuinely warm and went out of their way to help us, which made a big difference. Unfortunately, the online photos were misleading and the neighbourhood felt a bit sketchy, so we didn’t feel completely comfortable.

The room was spacious, clean, and came with a handy wardrobe, desk, and fridge, while the bathroom had plenty of hot water and the staff were pleasant and quick to assist. Breakfast covered the basics for a vegetarian, Wi‑Fi worked fine, and you can pay by card and even do laundry on site.

Arriving late, I was told by the receptionist that there were no rooms available despite having a confirmed online reservation, and she blamed an over‑booking issue. I ended up stuck outside, scrambling for another place to stay deep into the night.

The hotel isn’t exactly in the city’s prime spot, but it’s still reachable on foot and the welcome was very friendly. They even prepared breakfast exactly when we asked for it.
