“Good for 2 peacfull nights to get away from croud city town”

The hospitality is kind and the location is peaceful, yet it is almost 3 km from Ella city.

Family members are extremely friendly and helpful; they even sewed ripped shorts for me. The room is massive, the beds comfortable, and the terrace area is large with a table, chairs, deckchairs, and a power socket near the table. Shampoo and shower gel come in big bottles, hot water is fast, and both breakfast and dinner are good. Wi‑Fi is very slow, so we had to use our mobile data.

“Do not recommend - Misleading location!”

The food the host cooked was quite nice, but overall I do not recommend it because the host was unreachable, the room was very average, and the location was far. The location given is incorrect; it is 3 km away and far from the city. Tuk‑tuks will not go there and it’s very difficult to commute. We had to walk up the road in the evening, which was scary because there are no streetlights, or we would have to depend on the host to always arrange transportation. There are no food options nearby. On day 2 we were told that payment had to be made in cash; we assumed it was paid by card, and when we asked for a card option we were told an additional charge would be applied. No mosquito nets were in the room and small insects like cockroaches can enter.

“Au calme dans la montagne”

Everything! The host’s welcome was wonderful. The room is very large, clean, and well arranged. The terrace is big and quiet. Breakfast was excellent and the host served us an excellent meal two nights. The hotel is 6 minutes by scooter/tuktuk from Ella centre, but it is still far from the lively city. Truly an excellent stay, thanks to our host!
