“Beautiful hotel full of antiques right on the beach”
The hotel exudes old‑world charm on a car‑free island, but solo travelers face an extra nightly fee, making it better suited for families.

Krapanj, the smallest permanently inhabited Croatian island, is gorgeous, though the southeast side feels neglected with construction debris, likely from nearby residents. The staff—reception, room service, and restaurant—were consistently helpful and friendly, especially Mr. Nino, who was always cheerful, assisted us, and even ferried us to Brodarica by boat. The pool was clean and always open, and the interior, dating from 2005, was spotless. Italian or Spanish hotels could learn a thing or two from this place.

The unexpected arrival by private boat, the beach, the room, and the restaurant were all great, but the room’s sea view was disappointing because it faced the wrong side.

The staff were very kind and helped us with everything, and dinner in the restaurant was fine.
