The room and kitchen were spacious, and the hostess was very friendly. Our Italian was limited, but we managed. The location was great for visiting Naples and the nearby excavations. The mattress was hard, so we put a blanket on it. Breakfast was limited to toast and jam, but there were two boiled eggs, which was fine. The shower cabin doors almost fell off. The address is hard to find; the street is split, confusing navigation, but we got there with help. The narrow street isn’t unusual for that part of Italy.

Rosanna’s hospitality is a pleasure. The milk from their cow makes an excellent fresh dessert. The accommodation matched the photos, was very clean, not brand new, and felt like home. I recommend it for families. It takes 10 minutes on foot to the ruins and the Napoli‑Sorrento train. The archaeological walk will soon open, allowing a walk to the Pompeii ruins. Visiting the Villa Regina ruins (900 m away) with the Pompeii Plus ticket lets you take the free shuttle that arrives near the ruins (check the schedule at the ticket office). My daughters loved the farm animals a lot.

The owners were very friendly and the room was large, even though we were four. The photos matched what we found. The private bathroom was outside the room, in the common corridor. Luckily, during the single night we stayed, we were the only guests, so what could have been an inconvenience turned out not to be. I would have preferred to know this beforehand, but the room description didn’t make it clear. Also, the bathroom was very old and could be improved with some care, if not completely renovated.
