“Toccata e fuga”
Everything was great, especially the very convenient location that lets you walk to the city center; the only thing I wish for is a kettle in the room or common areas to brew tea in the evening.

Il Lavatoio Dimora Storica, in Castel Di Sangro, offers rooms within a historic 18th-century setting. The hotel features a restored wash house lobby and rooms on two floors or in towers, with TVs, private bathrooms, and some with town-view balconies. A sweet and savory breakfast is served. The hotel is close to Abruzzo National Park, Roccaraso ski resort, and outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, and horse riding.

The location is excellent, right in the Historic Center near the basilica, and the city center is a few minutes on foot; the rooms are clean, spacious, and fully equipped for a comfortable stay, with friendly and always helpful staff, and the breakfast is superb. The only downside is that the check‑in time could be advanced to allow luggage drop‑off upon arrival.

A very authentic, cozy hotel in a former laundry, everything is top‑renovated, the rooms are large and nice, the breakfast is good, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

A great accommodation with a stylish modern room, extremely friendly, helpful, and generous hosts. The early notice about the nearby and relatively loud church bells was useful and appropriate, and they didn’t bother us much. The breakfast and service were also excellent; we would love to return anytime.
