“Scam and rude staff hotel”

The location is the only good thing about this hotel; the staff were extremely rude, the exchange rate used was a complete rip‑off—officially 1 USD to 1,378 Naira but the hotel used 1,500 to 1, which was unreasonable; the room refrigerator didn’t work, breakfast was poorly managed with calls around 8 am and service at 10 am after a long wait, no menu options, just whatever was given, and overall it was one of the worst hotels I’ve experienced in Lagos—room was somewhat clean but the service was terrible and the exchange rate felt like a scam.

“Not worth it!!! Didn't enjoy my stay!”

They rang at 7am to tell me they wanted to bring breakfast to my room—no buffet, so my sleep was interrupted! The sensible approach would have been to call the night before, confirm the meal choice, set a preferred time before 10am (when breakfast presumably ends), and then deliver at that time. Utter nonsense! The bathroom lacked a shower curtain, feeling like 1999. They didn’t clean the room, and the TV never worked even after they swapped the remote. A water treatment would have helped with the stinky Lekki water smell! Reception needed better communication skills. The price at reception was N20k higher than listed on Bookings.com, with no explanation for the increase—pure BS!

I was really disappointed with my stay, particularly with the food - it was overpriced and not very good. The breakfast was especially underwhelming. Overall, I felt that the hotel didn't quite live up to my expectations.
