The location is unbeatable, right next to the Central Train Station and close to all the main sights, though there are stairs and no elevator, which matters if you’re not mobile.

The reception was very friendly, the place is perfectly situated near the station in the heart of the city, the studio is spacious with a coffee machine, it’s quiet even though it’s central, the price‑to‑value ratio is great, and while it’s fine for us, the many narrow stairs make it unsuitable for people with limited mobility.

The hotel sits in a quiet alley of the walled city, close to the railway and bus stations, but it’s an old‑fashioned French hotel with no armchairs, lifts, fridges, or modern bathrooms, so you won’t spend much time inside—though that’s fine in Avignon. The front desk gentleman was helpful, but the price matches the location more than the facilities, and there are large cats that could trigger allergies.
