“Lovely place and hosts”
The room and facilities were excellent, with a well‑equipped kitchen featuring high‑end appliances and cookware. The bed, bath, and sitting area were comfortable, and breakfast was plentiful and cooked to order. The location was quiet yet convenient if you have a car. We had a great day in Skipton, visiting the castle, walking in the castle woods, seeing the museum, taking a canal boat tour, shopping, and eating at a café, which exceeded our expectations. There are also lovely walks in Malham. Reception was a bit awkward; shoes aren’t allowed indoors, which caught me off guard and made introductions and the tour a little difficult. Ordering breakfast the night before is unusual, but it worked out fine. It’s wise to book dinner at a local pub or restaurant in advance for arrival day.

The hosts were very friendly and welcomed us with drinks, chocolate eclairs, and fresh milk. The breakfast was the most delicious we’ve had. The ground‑floor room offered easy access and stunning views of the fields. The only suggestion would be to provide bottled water.

The breakfast was very good and the location was ideal for the places we wanted to visit. Nothing else to add.
“Very disappointing experience”
We liked the room’s nice furniture, but we had to take off our shoes right after entering the lobby. The lights would turn off automatically while we showered, leaving us in the dark. When we tried to cancel our second night because of a family death, management wouldn’t let us, insisting on a minimum two‑night stay even though we made the request within the cancellation window. They showed no concern for our situation, which felt uncaring.

The apartment was beautifully finished, the bathroom towels were excellent, and it was great to find a washing machine. It was comfortable overall. The bathroom felt cramped compared to the spacious rest of the apartment.
