“Séjour parfait”
Everything was perfect, nothing to complain about.
The hotel’s location is great, with a stunning sea view, a lovely pool, and we enjoyed the cocktails and food (restaurant view). We appreciated being upgraded to a sea‑facing room after our original booking at Kalimba was unavailable. Overall, the setting is beautiful and we had a lovely time. However, we were disappointed because we booked Kalimba but ended up at Tamala instead. Although both belong to the same group, we would have liked to know about the change beforehand. I had stayed at Tamala before and would have preferred that info. The property’s condition also needs work: the infrastructure feels dated, maintenance could improve, and cleanliness suffered—there were unpleasant sanitary smells, missing garbage bags, and the air conditioning in the second room didn’t work properly, which was inconvenient in the heat. Many cats roam the property, which may be uncomfortable for some guests. The breakfast could also be better. Overall, the hotel has potential, but small details like better communication about room allocation, improved maintenance, cleanliness, and basic amenities would make the stay much more enjoyable.
“Would recommend and stay again”
The rooms and towels were spotless, the breakfast was delicious, the pool was lovely, the staff were friendly, and the beachside spot was perfect, except for one rude receptionist.
The rooms were spacious and close to the sea, which was nice, and the room service and cleaning were solid. But when booking, the listing showed rooms and prices for Klimba Beach Hotel, yet the hotel was closed and not operating. Upon arrival, security directed us to a different hotel next to TUI, and when we asked why, the owner said Klimba Hotel was shut down but the booking site still had prices and payment active, which is weird. In short, you end up staying at TUI HOTEL, and when you arrive, it’s a strange situation that gets reported to booking and hidden.
“unexpectanly awesome”
I had an amazing time, absolutely flawless.
