The setting in the middle of nature makes you feel at home thanks to the friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner are high quality, and parking is onsite. There are plenty of day trips to Germany and Austria. Two streets lead here; the GPS won’t let you go via Mühlauer Freie because it’s a steep, narrow hill. Take Weißensteiner Weg for a smoother drive.

Staying at this hotel was an unforgettable experience. The owners are a family who attend to every detail and make guests feel at home. They also have a friendly dog named Lili and a cat that roam around—adorable. Breakfasts are included, buffet style, and they’re the best part of the day. A 10 is too low for this place; I recommend it wholeheartedly. ❤️ Even though you might find a spider in the room, it’s normal in the middle of the Bavarian Alps and doesn’t detract from the 10‑star experience.

Nice location with a good view of the mountains. A pleasant, small alpine family hotel. We appreciate that parking is available in front of the hotel. The bathroom is tiny, and the toilet has very little legroom, but that’s hard to change.

The hosts are very friendly and even on their day off they provide plenty of tips. Breakfast is exceptionally tasty, extensive, and lovingly prepared. The only downside is the limited selection of restaurants nearby on their day off.

The staff are very friendly, accommodating, and give a family vibe. The location and mountain view are extraordinary and impressive. It’s a great starting point for hikes and excursions. We liked everything.
