The bed was clean, but the room was tiny, poorly equipped, had no wardrobes, no minibar, and similar shortcomings.

Everything I needed was there, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom had plenty of space.

The room was very clean, neat, and the staff were friendly, yet at check‑in we were told to pay an extra €3 per person to stay in the city. That’s a Frankfurt rule, but I’ve been there several times and other hotels didn’t charge that; as a German resident paying like a tourist feels like a tourist scam.

It had the Motel One vibe, a 24‑hour reception and bar, but the location was a drawback.

It was fine.
