The location was good, especially with a dog, and breakfast was a real highlight; the bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. I was a bit of a frostbite, so the bathroom was too cool for me in the mornings, and our wet clothes from the rain barely dried because the towel heater was off. At our request, the host turned the heater on for a few hours that day. I think it helped that we only understood each other by hand and foot… it was very noisy, but we still felt comfortable; those were great days with Gerda.
