“Not what we expected”

Nothing positive. The owner blamed us for a booking error and offered us a stay at another guesthouse, but we ended up at Birchwood Hotel because the original guesthouse was dirty, unsafe, and the ceiling looked like it might collapse; the owner eventually refunded us after two requests.

“Thank you for your accommodation we will visit again”

Breakfast was good and the area was nice, but key instructions were missing and we misunderstood that part.

“Okay”

The location was good, the place is clean and serviced daily. The self‑catering option lacked a microwave in room2 to heat food, and we were told to use hot water sparingly in Winter (29Jun - 03 Jul) because the property runs on Solar. Parking was a bit crowded when the Guest house was full.
