“We had a wonderful stay, the staff were very obliging, friendly and always pleasent, a huge bonus.”
The location was outstanding, and the accessible bathroom featured two shower options and a beautiful design. The room itself was modern, roomy, with a small dining table and chairs and a comfy sofa. We noticed a small detail: my husband’s lactose‑free milk request was only mentioned once, but once we brought it up, a carton appeared at breakfast, along with oat milk, and a small carton was left in the fridge. The tea and coffee facilities were good, including a small coffee pod machine and kettle. The balcony offered a lovely view of the estuary. It was especially nice that the modern bedrooms were additions to the old hotel and were sympathetically linked to the historic building. The location was exceptional, and we truly enjoyed our break. The only drawback was the meal choices, which were the same each evening, with very limited vegetarian options.
