“Amazing day lovely food just a really relaxing place can be as busy or relaxing as you like it to be”
This is my second time at the lodges and both times have been very clean and lovely and warm, great hot tubs and amazing lodges. Everything you need will definitely come again. We did mention the locks on the bedroom windows in the children’s room and it would be good to have a children’s breakfast menu; the lady was happy that we shared the big one but they would like their own menu just a thought, but amazing day thank you.
“Cute but a few issues”
This place is perfect for a romantic getaway, it's so quiet and relaxed. We had a great time at the Hide restaurant/bar watching "full on" perform - they're amazing! However, the bed was a bit small, and the pillows were really thin. The internet didn't work in the lodge and the signal isn't great, which was a bit of a problem for us since my child has a rare condition and I need to be contactable in case of emergencies.

The lodge was really well-equipped and clean, we loved it. My husband had a great time fishing, and the hot tub was excellent. The Hide cafe served really tasty meals, great value for money. One thing that would have been nice is a full-length mirror - just a minor thing, but it would have been handy.

Our stay at Heronmead was fantastic, so quiet and secluded. The lodge had everything you could wish for, going to book again. There was nothing we didn't like.

I knew going in that nothing would be open, but what I didn't realise was just how isolated it was - there are no footpaths to the local village. It's a shame, but I guess that's just what you get in a rural spot.
