“Landelijk gelegen B&B, prima tussenstop”
After a long journey, the pool with its comfy lounge chairs was a perfect spot to unwind. The breakfast hit the spot with fresh bread, homemade jam and honey, yogurt, juices, tea, coffee, fresh fruit, and a selection of cheeses and cold cuts. The bathroom had a nice shower that added to the comfort of the stay. The beds were average; we were glad to leave after just one night because we woke up a bit stiff. The bedding was clean but felt very stiff, making sleep less comfortable. Check‑in was possible from 16.00, which is fine, but we were disappointed that we couldn’t enter the premises a minute earlier; after almost 1,000 km of travel that felt unwelcoming. The lady, perhaps due to a language barrier, was quite brief in her explanations and said only the essentials, so we had to ask ourselves if we could order drinks. We also had to improvise with food and drinks we brought, since the room had no fridge, glasses or plates. The man at breakfast, however, made a friendly chat that left a warmer, more welcoming impression.
