“A nice, pleasant & relaxing stay with green grass !”

The staff were exceptionally friendly and went above and beyond for every request. Breakfast was delicious, and the bar/entertainment area was beautiful and relaxing. The lush green grass was a lovely contrast to the dry dirt roads of Kimberly. However, while enjoying nature, the number of spider webs and harmless spiders in the room was concerning. I spoke to reception and they were very accommodating. The staff remained friendly and pleasant to deal with.

“"Another" up mkt lodge”

The place looks good and is pretty appealing, but it’s 50 km away and takes an hour to get there, so you start to wonder if it was worth it; a gardener blew a dust storm into the room, which was not good at all.

The long drive was worth it, especially if you spend two nights and make use of the lodge’s grounds; unlike the rest of Gibb River Road, the area around the gorges is completely secluded, feeling like a dream, and the facility itself is fantastic, even offering helicopter tours.

It’s a lovely oasis amid all the red dirt, though the deep water holes at the crossing could be improved since we met several people who had trouble; several guests mentioned a sewerage smell, and the mould on the canvas needs cleaning, but otherwise it was a lovely spot; the staff were friendly and accommodating, the food was good, and the entertainment was fun, making the trip worthwhile.

The team at Mount Hart were amazing; we arrived very late because of a flat tyre and missed the cafe, but the chef whipped something up for us at no cost and the food was delicious; nothing seemed like a hassle for anyone, and the team genuinely loved their jobs.
