The breakfast was amazing 🤩, the owners were very friendly 👌, and the location was great 👍. The only issue was a single shelf in the bathroom 😅, everything else was perfect: clean, quiet, and the garden was lovely.

The breakfast itself was more than excellent. The room was tucked in a lane behind the house, giving the impression it might have been a storage or garage converted into a bedroom and bathroom; at least it was very quiet. The room and bathroom were fine, but too expensive for what was offered—one could just as well book a cheap hotel room for such a place. It lacked the charm or ambiance I expect from a chambre d'hôte. I was greeted by a lady who explained everything in the briefest terms and told me where everything was. She also mentioned that breakfast would be served outside if it didn’t rain, otherwise inside. The next morning it was 14 °C and breakfast was set out outside, but rain started and I finished it inside. During breakfast she kept walking back and forth in the same space without speaking, which felt uncomfortable. I also noticed that the price for one or two people only differed by about 40 cents, yet there was less tax and only one breakfast to serve.

This bed and breakfast is really well situated, a 5‑minute drive away and easy to access the parking PR. We’re also 20 minutes by tram from Bordeaux city centre. Marylou & Daniel welcomed us warmly and guided us each morning for our outings. Their place is very quiet and the garden pleasant, perhaps even better in a better season. The uncertain weather didn’t spoil any activity. We thank Marylou & Daniel for their small gestures and will definitely return to discover even more.
