“Nice place and close to everything Sydney has to offer”
Terminus is close to everything in Sydney, especially the Rocks and Sydney Harbour. The bathrooms are shared.
“Great value for money - great location, rooms clean, comfy bed! Bring ear plugs if light sleeper”
The location offered great value for money and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. The hot/cold water zip tap didn’t work and there were no coffee cups in the communal coffee & tea area upstairs. The windows are thin, so if you’re on the ground floor you’ll need noise‑cancelling headphones or the hotel’s kind ear‑plugs because it gets noisy from the footpath and road.

The room was comfortable, clean, and the location was great with a lovely pub nearby. The bathroom was a bit damp, and the room could use a small TV.

The pub‑style hotel was quirky and set in a lively historic area with charming cafés, interesting buildings, and a doable walk to the CBD plus plenty of public transport. The climate control was stuck in HEAT mode, so we couldn’t cool the room, and the staff had already left, leaving no one onsite to fix it. Outside pedestrian noise was loud, giving us a terrible sleepless night, and the room had a double bed (not a queen) which caused me to fall out twice when my tall partner shifted. The price was very cheap, and if we’d had noise‑cancelling ear‑phones and a comfortable temperature, it might have been fine, but we found another hotel for the rest of our stay.
