“inexpensive motel/hotel - you get what you pay for”

The price matched what other places were charging at the time, and parking right next to the motel was convenient, which is normal for Palm Springs. The Wi‑Fi worked after a brief hiccup, the location was peaceful, and the owner's son kindly noticed a flat tire on our rental and pumped it for us. The room was much smaller than the description, the fridge was tiny, the bed was mediocre, the pool was dirty, and there was no way to talk to anyone except via text.

“Management is a kook!!!”

Inside the room the amenities were presented in a very luxurious way, but management had warned that smoking was strictly prohibited inside. I smoked outside by the pool as instructed, stayed only about two hours at night, and left again about an hour before checkout. I never smoked in the room, yet management still tried to charge me a $350 incidental fee for smoking inside. It seems their staff and owners are focused on squeezing extra money whenever the hotel needs it.

“ㅜ.ㅜ”

We arrived in Palm Springs hoping to soak in the hot springs, but there was no jacuzzi and the pool water was too cold to use, so we couldn't enjoy the hot springs at all. Anyone planning a visit should keep this in mind.

The bed was comfortable, but the bathroom was tiny, the TV didn’t work so I couldn’t watch the Olympics, and the owner wasn’t helpful about the issue.
