The house was very unique and roomy. The hosts ensured we had everything we needed, even towels for the hot springs. It was great to have so many bathrooms, laundry access, and a big yard. The hot water takes a while to heat up, so start the shower early—once it’s hot, the pressure is excellent!

We really enjoyed our stay; the farm is incredible, with an unobstructed view, plenty of green space, the sea on the horizon, close to Ponta Delgada, and well‑located to visit the island’s main sights. The beds were very comfortable, every room had a toilet, and we received local products upon arrival. We stayed during the week of Storm Therese, which caused some issues beyond the owners’ control, but they did everything to resolve them, including a refund for a few nights—a gesture worth highlighting.

The apartment was clean, spacious, and exactly as shown in the photos. The hosts were wonderful, very friendly and always available throughout our stay. They even helped us with our laundry. We were welcomed with fresh fruit, water, and local wine in the apartment, which made the stay even more pleasant. Highly recommended!

Lagoa is a great spot to explore the island: not overcrowded with tourists, close to routes north and east, and not far from Ponta Delgada (airport, markets, port, swimming areas, etc.). The property offers plenty of outdoor space with lovely sunset views, cute pets, clean and comfortable bedrooms, parking, and is within walking distance to Lagoa itself and its waterfront.
