We liked the location. Very close to the airport. The rooms were huge and clean. The staff were very good and friendly. They helped us check-in after midnight. Helped us for a smooth check out. Overall a good stay. I was travelling from the UK. We checked-in at 1.30 am. I was so tired, just had half a pint and went to bed. I had a meeting at 9, so went for breakfast at 7.15 am and checked out at 8.15am. While checking out they showed a picture of a snack pot with 10 different things, and told us that they were used by us. The snack pot was empty when we entered and obviously we didnt take any pictures as we had no idea what to expect in the room. I request the staff to show guests whats kept in the room when they help putting baggage in the room at the first entry. The manager and the desk staff were considerate and let us go. We didnt have to pay anything. But there was a 10 minutes discussion. Kindly have a better way to avoid such discrepancies with anyone else in the future. Many thanks. Looking forward to staying at the Umrao in future

The breakfast spread was very good and the staff were helpful, but the room looked worn out. The stainless steel tap on the wash basin was badly stained, the toilet seat was stained and I had to clean it myself with a lot of effort. The mattress felt too soft, as if it were old.

Excellent place, the hotel is very beautiful, the staff are always very friendly and ready to help, and the food was exquisite—100 % recommended. I will definitely return to India and stay at the same place again.

The food quality was very good, as usual, and the stay was very pleasant. However, the swimming pool water was not clear, and there was poor coordination between reception staff when I paid extra for my elder kid’s bed; we had to wait for the extra bed until 11:30 pm.
